Ri Sin Ung, a researcher of the Semiconductor Institute, received a benevolent birthday spread

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Il Sung Prize winner, People’s Scientist, Acad. Prof. Dr. Ri Sin Ung, a researcher of the Semiconductor Institute on his 80th birthday.

Ri Sin Ung had worked as a researcher for about 50 years since he graduated from the university and contributed greatly to the development of science and technology and the educational work, and successfully carried out a lot of main research tasks for the independent development of national economy, so he gave pleasure to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il several times.

He created some new subjects and wrote many texts and references including Theory of Semiconductor Elements, Up-to-date Electric Power and Electronic Elements and Encyclopedia of Electric Engineering (7) and trained a large number of well-qualified scientists and educators including 10 doctors.

Our Party set him up as Kim Il Sung Prize winner, People’s Scientist, Academician, Professor and Doctor as he had achieved great successes with his tireless passion from the youth to the old in scientific researches which were of great help to the Juche industrial development and chose him as a representative of the celebration for the 75th founding of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Ri Sin Ung, who received the spread full of love of the respected General Secretary, was so much moved that he couldn’t control his growing excitement. And, he made firm resolution that he would devote all his wisdom and passion to the educational work and scientific researches, keeping always in mind today’s love and belief.
