KUT Highly Appraised in the 12th National Symposium for Public Presentation of Hypotheses and Conceptions

The 12th National Symposium for Public Presentation of Hypotheses and Conceptions was held from September 13 to 17 by online meeting system under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

Attended were lecturers, researchers, technicians, field engineers etc. from educational units, scientific research units and production units including Kim Il Sung University, KUT, State Academy of Sciences, Institute of Agricultural Science, Pyongyang Dental and Sanitary Goods Factory etc. It was divided into 8 sections.

Among some 190 suggestions the essays “A multipolar reluctance motor for a direct drive ball mill” by An Se Gwang, researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and “Combinatioin of traditional communication system and quantum communication system using wavelength division multiplexing” by O Ju Hyok, lecturer at the Faculty of Communication were proven excellent as they are in conformity with our specific conditions, original and of great economic significance.

In addition, several suggestions by the lecturers and researchers at KUT including Ri Il Gwang, laboratory head at the Faculty of Applied Chemical Engineering, Kim Kwang Il, laboratory head at General Assay Office and Ri Se Hyong, laboratory head at the Faculty of Automation Engineering were assessed to be of great value.
