In August several years ago, the area of Komdok was devastated by a severe typhoon that had swept across the east coast area and by successive floods. The damage was so severe that the officials had no idea what to do. Mere restoration to the status quo alone had to take several years.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un learnt about the situation of the Komdok area and took a decisive measure of issuing an order for reconstruction to the People’s Army.
He was always solicitous even after indicating detailed orientation and ways for rehabilitation. Saying that the very thought of the people in the disaster area kept him awake, he acquainted himself with knotty problems and gave solutions to them almost every day.
Repeated measures of love reaching the rehabilitation site made the soldiers cherish more deeply in their minds the consciousness that they are members of the people’s army and enlist their mental strength to the maximum for the good of the people.
His warm affection brought about a miracle of transforming the appearance of the disaster area in a little more than two months that was said to take years to restore itself to the original state.
