Mirae Scientists Street, erected on the bank of the picturesque Taedong River to demonstrate the feature of Juche architecture, is a gift the Workers’ Party of Korea gave to educators and scientists on the occasion of the 70th birthday of the Party.

In the residential area with 25-, 30-, 55-storeyed and skyscraping apartments forming a whole street on both sides of the road along the bank of the Taedong River, there are a nursery, a kindergarten and primary and secondary schools and all sorts of magnificent and splendid public catering establishments and cultural welfare facilities including a Mirae e-library.
Over 1 100 of over 2 000 flats are those for the educators and scientists of Kim Chaek University of Technology.
