On the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star(February 16), one of the greatest national holidays, a celebratory art performance was given by the teaching staff and students of the College of Information Science and Technology at the university gymnasium on February 15.
The performance started with narrative and chorus Ode to Comrade Kim Jong Il amidst the growing respect for the Chairman who had provided a guarantee for the eternal future of Juche Korea with his outstanding and seasoned leadership.
In male vocal solo and chorus The General Drives White Horse, female chorus White Snowflake of Longing, female vocal solo Wherever We Go and See in the Country, poetry and songs February Is Spring, female vocal solo A Long Road to Front of the General and chorus My Blessed Life, the performers reflected their ardent yearning for Chairman Kim Jong Il, who had visited Kim Chaek University of Technology twice in the new century and shown great affection and benevolence, attaching importance to it and putting forward its teaching staff and students as the pioneer of revolution in the information industry.
The performance ended with poetry and chorus Glory to General Kim Jong Un and We’ll Travel the Road to Socialism Only that represented the unanimous will of loyalty of all the teaching staff and students to faithfully support the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un with science and technology, true to the instructions of the Chairman, keeping in mind the great trust shown by him who had put forward the university as the pioneer of revolution in the information industry.
