University students got together on May 18 to present their papers.

The meeting was organized to spark the students' passion for study and research and help them build up their capacity for presentation, this year that marks the 70th anniversary of the University.

Since early February efforts were made to work out papers with the result that as many as 90 papers were completed.

The event was featured by four highly appreciated scientific essays and a paper which was evaluated as the best in the 10th Mathematical Modeling Contest.

Ri Kwon, student at the College of Information Science and Technology, published his research findings on the blind digital image water marking robust for print and shooting using DCT. Pong Myong Song, student at the Faculty of Automation Engineering, dealt with the research on the walking pattern generation of bipedal robot. Ri Kum Chol, who studies at the Faculty of Material Engineering, presented “Research on the establishment of copper staves casting process in blast furnace”. Jong Hyon Il, An Jin Su and Hyon Jin Song from the College of Information Science and Technology released “Research on efficiency evaluation of running rule on motorway in accordance with the keep-right rule”, which stole the show at the 10th Mathematical Modelling Contest.
