Section chief Jong Il Chol and other scientists at the Faculty of Automation have newly developed a V-conical flow meter.

This flow meter, thanks to its structural characteristic, has an advantage of allowing short length of a linear tube fixed at its head and tail.

In addition, as it is capable of cleaning itself, it never gets contaminated or blocked up even when measuring the flow of multi-phase fluid, which has fluid or its particles mixed in the gas, or gas or its particles in the fluid.

And the tightening components are wear-resistant thanks to its protective function, ensuring long and stable operation.

In particular, it provides high measurement accuracy despite the small amount of fluid, and operation stability. It can also be used to measure the flow of fluids such as exit gas or sewage because it can even measure that of high pressure (10MPa) and high temperature (500℃).
